The Forara 100G QSFP28 transceiver modules are hot-pluggable, high-density and low-power, designed for use in 100 Gigabit Ethernet links and 4x28G OTN client interfaces. They are compliant with the QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-SR4, IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4 / 100GBASE-ER4. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the MDIO. The transceiver modules are are RoHS-6 compliant and lead-free.

Notes:
1. Single MPO-12 receptacle for -SR4, PSM4, duplex LC/PC connector for -LR4, -ER4.
2. Minimum cabling distance is 0.5 meters for -SR4 and PSM4, and 2 meters for -LR4 and ER4 according to the IEEE 802.3 standard.
3. Links longer than 30 km for the same link power budget are considered engineered links as per IEEE 802.3 Table 87–6. Attenuation for such links needs to be less than the worst case specified for single mode fiber to guarantee operation.
